Mary Paterson artist in residence

Mary Paterson is Fabrica artist in residence for the Time and Place (TAP) project throughout 2014. Mary is a writer and performance artist based in London. For this residency she will write about events and exhibitions under the TAP theme of ‘Aftermath’ in a text that combines critical writing with a philosophical and poetic approach to memory, meaning and loss.  Approaching the commission as a traveller through time, space and language, she will consider the relationships between private and public space, the role of the aesthetic in the construction of meaning, and the problems of commemoration.

The final text has now been published on aftermath-aftermath.org.
